Vinyl flooring in The Denver Metro Area
Vinyl has become the most flexible flooring category on the market - fully waterproof, resistant to scratches, and realistic enough that most people can't tell it apart from hardwood or stone at a glance. Artisan Custom Flooring carries luxury vinyl plank, luxury vinyl tile, sheet vinyl, and Forbo Marmoleum for every room of the house.
We buy direct from Shaw, Armstrong, Karndean, Mannington, Centura, Kraus, and Harbinger, which keeps our inventory deep and pricing at manufacturer levels - most projects can start within a week of the estimate.

Four products, one name
"Vinyl flooring" actually covers four distinct products, and we'll match the right one to your room during the in-home consultation.
- Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) - a hardwood look that's fully waterproof, our top pick for whole-home installs
- Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) - a stone or ceramic look, grouted or ungrouted, well suited to kitchens and baths
- Sheet vinyl - installed in large rolls with virtually no seams, ideal for laundry rooms and small baths
- Forbo Marmoleum - natural linoleum with bacteriostatic properties, popular in healthcare settings and eco-minded homes

Where vinyl beats hardwood and tile outright
Vinyl is the one flooring product you can put anywhere without hesitation. Hardwood swells when it gets wet, tile cracks under a hard enough drop, and carpet stains. Vinyl handles all of it, while staying softer underfoot than tile, warmer than stone, and quieter than laminate.
It also goes down over nearly any subfloor - concrete, plywood, even some existing vinyl or tile - which cuts down on demo costs and shortens the whole project timeline.

Professional installation
Vinyl looks easy to install, but the details that separate a clean job from a sloppy one - a flat subfloor, consistent perimeter expansion gaps, matched stair nosings, correctly placed transition strips - come down to experience. Our crews handle every step, baseboard removal and reinstall included, along with hauling off whatever floor you're replacing.

Vinyl Flooring - frequently asked questions
Yes - every LVP, LVT, and sheet vinyl product we carry is 100% waterproof. Mopping it, spilling on it, or installing it in a basement or bathroom isn't a concern.
LVP is waterproof and laminate isn't. LVP also feels softer and quieter underfoot, while laminate is a touch more scratch-resistant on the surface. For most rooms, LVP is the stronger pick.
Often, yes - as long as the grout lines aren't too deep and the tile is well-bonded. We'll check during the in-home estimate and either install straight over it or skim-coat first to flatten the surface.
Vinyl with a UV-protected wear layer holds its color for decades. Cheaper builder-grade vinyl in a south-facing room can fade within a few years, which is part of why we don't carry the bottom-tier products.
