A smarter alternative to ceramic

Luxury vinyl tile gets you the look of stone, ceramic, or marble without the cold floor, cracked grout, or a broken dish every time something slips out of your hand. Artisan Custom Flooring installs LVT across The Denver Metro Area in kitchens, bathrooms, entryways, mudrooms, and full commercial spaces.

The LVT we carry holds the certifications that matter for indoor air quality - FloorScore, CARB Phase II for formaldehyde, and E0 for low emissions - so it's a safe pick in homes with kids or anyone sensitive to allergens.

Grouted, ungrouted, or click

LVT installs three different ways, and which one makes sense depends on your subfloor and the look you're going for.

  • Grouted LVT - real grout lines, near-identical to ceramic, best in higher-end kitchens and baths
  • Ungrouted LVT - tight seams with nothing to maintain, a clean choice for whole-house consistency
  • Click LVT - floats over the subfloor and installs fastest, well suited to basements and retrofits
  • Glue-down LVT - the most solid feel and quietest underfoot, best for commercial or high-traffic homes

Why LVT wins over ceramic for most homes

LVT delivers a stone or tile look while staying softer, warmer, and quieter to walk on. It's more forgiving when something gets dropped, and sealed grout (where used) resists staining far better than standard cement grout. For families and pet owners, LVT solves most of the usual complaints about ceramic without sacrificing the finished look.

Installation

We flatten the subfloor first - LVT will telegraph every dip and high spot if that step gets skipped. From there we dry-lay the pattern to confirm placement, install with the correct adhesive or click system, and finish with sealed grout (when requested) and transitions color-matched to adjoining rooms.

Vinyl Floor Tiles - frequently asked questions

No - we use a flexible, polymer-modified grout made for LVT. It flexes with the floor instead of cracking and is sealed to resist staining far longer than traditional cement grout.

That's one of its strongest use cases. It's waterproof, easy to clean, and won't crack under something like a dropped cast-iron pan.

No - it has a slightly warm, softer feel underfoot, and it also performs well over radiant heat if you want genuinely warm floors.

With a 22-mil or thicker wear layer, expect roughly 20 to 25 years in a home. Commercial-grade LVT typically runs 15 to 20 years even under heavy foot traffic.
